PROGRESS LOG

I have done the character concepts and model sheets, and starting on storyboard. The story has to be simple and appropriate for a short animation, but time is running short so I'll have to settle down for a straight forward kind of story, at least for now. Squeezing it into a 3 to 5 minutes short animation is going to be quite a challenge. If I had too, this would need a maximum reconstruction on the story. But for now, the current story is all I have. Or alternately if possible, I might have to make a short animation thriller as a project.

Jentayu: Dawn of Hope

INTRODUCTION:

In an 80 years globalization wars, all culture was almost lost. A single super nation Neo prime and race named Neoites emerged and spared the remnants of the United Nations with a frail peace treaty if the UN stops fighting. But secretly, the UN are trying to find back what beautiful and unique culture lost to the war and asks if any of the remaining member country would spare the man power.

STORY INTRODUCTION:

July 25 2232, Jentayu, a squad of the best troops from Malaysia, was tasked to escort a UN culture expert Dr. Maria Amelia to an alien world called Permataei because of a report that it might contain culture elements lost from earth. Jentayu is led by a young commander Razak Rahman, and 2 soldiers, Lt. Adi and Sgt. Hassan. They arrive on the planet via a military drop ship and set towards a deserted building complex of some sort. The mission, search and secure anything of cultural importance.
